This is a set of three silver pendants made using the techniques of granulation and filigree inspired by Viking Age disk shaped pendants. Two of the pendants have a shield-shaped design and a third is a zoomorphic figure. They were inspired by extant designs found in museums and online auctions.
Pendant 1

My first attempt was this shield-shaped pendant comprising a mix of triangle, diamond, and flower shaped elements with an embossed central jumbo. The edge details are twisted wire.

Pendant 2

The second pendant features a beast of unknown type with varied size granules. This piece is based on an auction find (image below) and is fairly unique. There are only a few extant pieces with animal motifs, including 2 pendants with birds from Gnezdovo and a couple of additional beasts on auction sites of a very different design. I really liked the look of the beast and the contrast of the different sized granules.

Pendant 3

The third pendant is also shield shaped with a decorated raised center boss and a swirled motif radiating from the center. It is based on several different finds which use this swirled design, including one from Tersely, one from Gnezdovo, and a fragment from Birka.

Below are some images of the extant finds that inspired these pieces.
